Coming To Las Vegas?
Make Viva Las Vegastamps! your FIRST stop!
We're just two minutes east of the Sahara Hotel on the fabulous Las Vegas Strip and if you're a walker, certainly within walking distance of many of the Strip Casinos. You'll find the largest collection of rubber art stamps under one roof in the world!
But while you're visiting our fun rubber stamp store, try to set aside some time to enjoy the rest
of the glitz and glamor Las Vegas has to offer!
We do have two blackjack tables in our store but there are lots more on the Strip and downtown...of course, theirs aren't loaded up with rubber like ours are!
And the OTHER buffets in town aren't rubber!
Places to Eat!
My personal picks for the best buffets in town after the one at Viva Las Vegastamps! are: Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, and Main Street Station.
Live Las Vegas Cam
to see Las Vegas live from the Paris Hotel!
Picture refreshes every 60 seconds.
Shop Til You Drop!
Most Fun Shopping Malls are in the Planet Hollywood (Miracle Mile) and if you've seen it and want more, there's always the Venetian (2nd floor) (complete with gondola rides)... and check out the handpainted ceilings
on the Main Floor... and the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace... experiences NOT to be missed even if you can't afford to buy anything there! Off the Strip, you can find
Boulevard Mall, Meadows Mall and The Galleria... not to mentions strip malls on just about
every corner of Las Vegas!
Road Trips
If you tire of the Strip and have a car, best side trip is to Valley of Fire.
Do stop to feed the carp at the Lake Mead Marina on your way back (beware, they now charge admission)
or if you drive out to Hoover Dam.
Red Rock Canyon is closer and it used to be a lot more fun before they stopped you from feeding the wild burros. You may see the occasional family of burros if you visit there but not the herds there used to be.
Best place to see wild burros is the old ghost town of Oatman, Arizona just south of Laughlin if you venture that far. It's on old Route 66 and it's worth taking a drive on 66 past Oatman a ways as well.
Oatman itself was deserted till the burros moved in and claimed it and then the tourists came to see the burros and then folks opened up bars and the like to make a buck off the tourists... a highlight
is definitely to visit the skanky little hotel room where Clark Gable and Carole Lombard spent their
honeymoon night.
There are TWO Factory Outlet Malls just south of the City at Blue Diamond Road and the Strip/I-15.
Belz is enclosed and the best IMHO.
IF you want REALLY high class outlet stores like Versace and Gucci, just travel 30 miles to Primm...
the MGM has a shuttle bus to it. The buffet in the attached casino is excellent for the price!
The best production show in town is "Jubilee" at Bally's.
